Skiing & Snowboarding

You can enjoy great skiing on 139 km of piste in Zillertal Arena. There's no need to worry because skiing here is guaranteed the whole winter. Ski lifts at an altitude of between 1,300 and 2,500 m ensure fun in Zillertal Arena from the beginning of December until Easter.For the “shreders” the snow parks in Gerlos, Zell am Ziller and Hochkrimml are on the to-do list. Every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. there is the famous Shredschool Freestyle Workshop in the Actionpark Kreuzwiese.

Tobogganing

Traditional tobogganing can be enjoyed at Gerlosstein. A 7-km-long toboggan run ensures extensive tobogganing fun. The world's longest illuminated toboggan run, at 14 kilometers, is just a stone's throw away. In the neighboring state of Salzburg, tobogganing fun in the Wildkogel Arena is guaranteed for young and old.

Cross-Country Skiing

Cross-country skiing is an ideal sport for achieving a balance between body and soul. The various trails, from "classic" to "skating", are guaranteed to suit everyone's needs. Leave your thoughts behind and head for the finish. You can also experience the breathtaking winter landscape at night, as 1.5 km of the trail is illuminated from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Immerse yourself in the snow-covered winter landscape and enjoy wonderful winter walks. Only in Gerlos can you experience winter like this. Gerlos also offers an extensive network of trails and traditional mountain lodges for refreshment on route. Have a great time away from it all!
